Rachael's future of social work focus is on trauma-informed and trauma-responsive design research and practice, and a focus on the integration of social work and design practices. She is curious about asking how might understanding trauma and integrating trauma-informed and trauma-conscious approaches lead us to learning about, teaching and practicing trauma-responsive design. Her professional work, research, and scholarship focuses on how to integrate social work values, ethics, and trauma-conscious practices in design research and design practice.
